Annie Virginia Mosley Garlington, 73 of Bearden, passed away July 7, 2010. Annie was born September 29, 1936 in Bearden, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby Mosley, her brothers, George, Jr., Jimmy, and Roy Mosley, one grandson, Joe Ethridge.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jack Garlington of Bearden, her daughters, Sharon Garlington of Bearden and Kay Ethridge of Temple, Texas and one grandson, Josh Ethridge and his wife Sonia of Austin, Texas. Countless nieces and nephews along with other family and friends were loved by Annie.
A member of the First Baptist Church in Bearden, Annie loved God. She lived to serve others. She retired from General Dynamics where she worked for 26 years as an inspector.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church in Bearden with Pastor Mike Montalbano officiating. Burial will be in Moss Cemetery. Visitation will begin on July 9, 2010 from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Bearden.
