Annette McManus Pollock, born Evelyn Annette McManus, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, surrounded by all three of her beloved daughters and her big brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Judy. She was 68 years old.
Born on June 16, 1957, in Thornton, Arkansas to Merle and Gladys McManus, Annette was a lifelong follower of Jesus and a gifted pianist. She joyfully served the church with her talents. The highest prize of her life was to raise her girls, instilling her spirit of faith, excellence, and music in each of them.
She is survived by her daughters, Cara Dyba of Atlanta, GA, and Lauran Pollock and Chelsea Helmick of Little Rock; six grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Judy McManus of Thornton; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Joe Finley of Fordyce; and dozens of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 20th at 1pm at First Baptist Church Thornton. A service to honor her life will follow at 2pm, to which all who knew Annette are invited. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
Gratefully, Annette’s family leans on the peace of Scripture in these days: “There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
