Anita June Summers

Anita June Summers, 79, of Bearden, died Saturday, April 2, 2011. She was born April 10, 1931 in Bearden, Arkansas. She was a retired nurse's aide and a member of Eagle Mills Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie Bry Nalls and Maudie Lee Johnson Nalls; husbands, Wayne Summers and John Cullen Cornett; three brothers, James E. Nalls, Louie F. Nalls, Mitchell Nalls; two sisters, Wilma Jean Lindsey and Hollie Mae Steelman; two great-grandchildren, Timothy Justin Doherty and Tyler Lee Doherty. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Ron Nichols of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren, Tim Doherty of Lonoke; Michelle (Rod) Clemons of Sheridan, Ronnie Nichols of Pine Bluff, Randall Nichols of Hot Springs; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Eagle Mills Baptist Church in Eagle Mills with Rev.
