Angela Nicole Carter of Prattsville gained her wings November 18, 2024. Angela was born in Picayune, Mississippi on August 22, 1977. Angela will be cremated at her request. Benton Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
After 47 years on this Earth, God decided to call Angela home. She had a long, difficult road for the past month and a half and she fought hard. She leaves behind a loving husband Shaun Carter, parents Dennis & Phyllis Davis, Randy & Marianna Houston, siblings Ryan (Trisha) Davis, Laura (Tyler) Hensley, Dan Houston, Heather Story, Zach Story, nephews, cousins, countless friends, and three beautiful children. Hayden, Gracie, and Lily were her everything. She spoke of them with pride in every conversation, beaming at their accomplishments, big or small, and always believing in the amazing people they are growing up to be.
She faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, never letting hardships define her. Instead, she focused on creating moments of joy and finding beauty in the small things. Whether it was a thoughtful word, a warm hug, or simply her presence, she had a way of making everything feel a little brighter.
We mourn the loss of a life taken too soon, but we also celebrate the gift of having known her. Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit will live on in her children and in the memories of everyone that had the pleasure of meeting her.
Funeral services will be 11AM Saturday at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Prattsville with Bro. Neal Hollinger officiating. Immediate family only will have a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fordyce. Memorial contributions may be made to Sweet Home Baptist Church Youth in c/o Jason & Angie Holiman.
