Alyce Rae Sorrells Pennington

Alyce Rae Sorrells Pennington, 85 of Holly Springs, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at her home. She was born June 21, 1931 in Camden, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member Holly Springs United Methodist Church and Holly Springs Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Ray Sorrells and Lucille Young Sorrells; husband, Clyde James Pennington; daughter, Jamie Rae Pennington Shelby; and brother, Terry Richard Sorrells. She is survived by son, Richard Pennington and his wife, Jeannie of Holly Springs; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday at Holly Springs United Methodist Church with Rev.
