Alton Ray Humphries, 92, of Holly Springs died Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. He was born November 1, 1926 in Holly Springs. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dillard Humphries and Ethel Yeager Humphries; wife, Thelma Humphries; three brothers, Charlie Humphries, Elgin Humphries, and Lewis Humphries; three sisters, Hazel Humphries, Lila Carter, and Alfa Harcrow; and two grandchildren, Kristel Nicholas and Bradley Lynn Sorrells. He is survived by two sons, Clifton Humphries of Bearden, Doug Humpries and wife Teri of Kingman, AZ; two daughters, Vicki Massey and husband Bobby of Camden, Joan Lloyd of Arkadelphia; nine grandchildren, Londia Humphries of Little Rock, Charlotte Jones of Bauxite, Cliff Humphries of Harmony Grove, Terah Whitley of Benton, Teshuah Burton of Camden, Chris Shackelford of Tulsa, OK, Brooke Franklin of Benton, Jason Humphries of Holly Springs, and Holly Murry of Cabot; twenty three great grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. David Dillard and Rev.
