Alma Myers, 95, of Conway (formerly of Leola) passed away on September 13, 2017. She was born August 4, 1922 to the late J.W. and Mary Bell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was full of life. She faithfully supported and served church congregations in Malvern, Willow, Holly Springs, and Murfreesboro as a pastor's wife. She was a long-time member of Manning Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Bro. Roscoe Myers; her sister, Cleo David; and loving son-in-law, Bill Dial, Sr. She is survived by her daughter and faithful caregiver, Jeanette Dial; grandson, Bill (Lori) Dial; granddaughter, Karen Dial; sweet great-granddaughter, Addison Dial; and many nieces , nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16 at Manning Baptist Church from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the service immediately following with Bro. Jerry George officiating. Burial will follow at DeLamar Cemetery in Manning.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie David, John Arnold, Eddie Myers, Dickie Myers, and Bro. James Blackwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry David, Jimmie Myers, Eddie Joe Lea, Richard Markham, Wesley Cady, and Gilbert Hawthorn.
