Alma Maxine Couch

Alma Maxine Quarles Couch, 91 of Pine Bluff, formerly of Bearden died Monday October 19, 2015 at Greenhurst Nursing Center at Charleston. Born August 28, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Fred Quarles and Annie Wilson Quarles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Couch; brothers, Hershel Quarles, Carlton Quarles; sisters, Christine Roark, Earnestine Deadmond. She is survived by a son, Dana Couch of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Laura Fawcett of Paris, AR; two brothers, William R. "Did" Quarles of Bearden, Maurice Quarles of Bearden; sister, Ann Gresham of Bearden; grandchildren, Brandon Couch, Justin Couch, Heather Kamisto, Will Fawcett, Lizzie Fawcett; five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Bearden First Assembly of God with Rev. Joey Ruth officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery near Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral home of Bearden/Fordyce.
