Alice Marie Roberts, 77, of Sparkman, AR, died Wednesday June 25, 2008. Mrs. Roberts was born in Russellville, AR on June 18, 1931 to the late Mark D. & Sybil Lavonna Othella Teal-Spencer. She was a homemaker & a member of the Victory Assembly of God Church in Lono, AR.
She is survived by her two sons, James D. Roberts of Fayetteville, NC, John A. Roberts of Los Lunas, NM; a daughter, Rita J. Fite of Sparkman, AR; two brothers, David Spencer of Loveland, CO, Charles Walter Spencer of Springfield, MO; a sister, Mary Ann Roberts of Rison, AR; six grandchildren, & five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Andrew Roberts.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday June 28, 2008 at the Victory Assembly of God Church in Lono. Burial will be in Roundhill Cemetery, with the Rev. Gerald Williams & Rev. Donnie Sherrill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
