Algernon Sidney Holderness, Jr., 72, died on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in Bellaire, Texas. He is survived by his loving daughters Claire Crockett Holderness of Brooklyn, New York and Julia Simms Holderness of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a grandson, Soroush Crockett Vakhshoori. Funeral services will be held at the Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce, Arkansas on Saturday, July 17 at 2 p.m. A memorial service will be held at ChristChurch Presbyterian in Bellaire, Texas, within the next month.
