Alexia Faith Welch

Alexia Faith Welch, age 8, of Hampton died Wednesday, June 12, 2013. She was born January 12, 2005 in Camden, Arkansas. She was a student at Hampton Elementary School and a member of Harmony Baptist Church near Bearden. She is preceded in death by grandmother, Jackie Nutt; great grandparents, Guy Williams, Jr., B.H. "Poncho" Welch and W.S. Nutt, Jr., and her beloved dog she simply called Dog. Alexia's mother, Lacey Welch also died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. She is survived by her father, Bodie Welch of Hampton; one brother, Trent Welch of Hampton; grandparents, Mike and Vickie Welch of Bearden, Ronnie Anderson of Calion, great grandparents, Martha Jo Nutt of Hampton, Joann Welch of Hampton, Martha Ann Johnson of Bearden and Elbert Bradford of Bearden. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 Monday, June 17, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Hampton with Rev. Rickey Smith and Rev. Steve Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Newton Cemetery near Hampton. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
