Ada Margaret Jones Chambers, 83, of Camden died Wednesday July 29, 2015 at her home. Born October 13, 1931 in Dallas County, she was a daughter of the late Porter Jones and Frances Green Jones.
Margaret loved her God and Lord and Savior, and was a lifelong member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church of Camden. She was always busy with her hands either sewing, cooking, or quilting. She made a quilt for each of her sons as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Wendell Chambers and six brothers. She is survived by three sons, James Royce Chambers and wife Martha of Camden, Thomas Chambers and wife Rita of Camden, Wayland Chambers and wife Missy of Camden; five brothers, Clinton Jones and wife Linda of Malvern, Ramey Jones of Malvern, Wayne Jones and wife Sue of Malvern, Troy Jones and wife Pat of Malvern, Auburn Jones and wife Jan of Ft. Smith; one sister, Christine Chambers of Fordyce; seven grandchildren, Jason Chambers of Palestine, Nicholas Chambers and wife Andrea of Sebastopol, MS, Joanna Chambers Nugent and husband Clay of Georgetown, LA, Brandon Chambers of Camden, Sheila Odom and husband Kenny of Drummond, TN, Jonathan Chambers and wife Jennifer of Camden, Breanne Chambers of El Dorado; eleven great-grandchildren, Payton Chambers, Andrew Chambers, Daniel Chambers, Titus Chambers, Jude Chambers, Lucas Chambers, Jon Russell Chambers, Jorgia Chambers, Carson Chambers, Jonas Nugent, Evan Nugent.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
