Viola “Nell” Jenell McCarty, age 78 of Fordyce died Friday, January 28, 2022 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. She was born December 15, 1943 in Sparkman, Arkansas. She is survived by one brother, Bill “Hickey” Hickman of Camden; three sisters, Mary “Kat” Bassetti of Hampton, Vivian Seale and Linda Hartley of Sparkman; two special aunts, Milrene Wood of Fordyce and Louise Atkins of Banks. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Sparkman Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Dunn officiating.
