Steven Lee Linzy

Steven Lee Linzy, age 40, of New Edinburg passed away on March 29, 2024. Steven was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on April 26, 1983 to Randy and Elizabeth Linzy. He was a member of the Smith Chapel Baptist Church. Steven is preceded in death by his father, Randy Linzy; grandfathers, Lee Linzy and Earnest Cornett; Aunts, Jeanette Linzy and Kathy Linzy Saeler. Steven is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Linzy; grandmothers, Macel Linzy Loomis and Jean Cornett; Aunts, Beverly (Dale) Talbert and Amanda (Bobby) Cook, several cousins and great friends, James Gill, Shane Mathews, and Will Reeves.

Steven was a member of the New Edinburg volunteer Fire Fighters and the Amateur ham radio community. Steven was a very likable guy and well known in the small town he grew up in. He enjoyed attending church when possible, helping out at the fire station, talking on his radio or his computer, and spending time with friends.
