March 7, 1946 - September 23, 2020

Ronald A. Ramsay, 74 of Holly Springs died Wednesday September 23, 2020 at his home. Born March 7, 1946 at Camden, he was a son of the late Marvin E. Ramsay and Lorice Alexander Ramsay. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Ramsay Electronics with his brother, Lynn. He was known all over the area for his service and work installing Satellite TV systems. He was a member of Holly Springs United Methodist Church. He served on the board at the Bank of Bearden and was a former member of the Dallas County Hospital Board. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother Lynn Ramsay; and step-father Raymond Dunlap. He is survived by his wife Patty Ramsay of Holly Springs; son Brian Ramsay and his wife Adrianne of Bryant; two daughters Leah Robbins and her husband Rob of Cutler Bay, FL, Linda Bayless of Virginia; a sister Sylvia Savage and her husband Royce of Tyler, TX; four grandchildren Caleb Robbins, Annalise Robbins, Natalie Robbins, and Irene Robbins. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with graveside services following at New Holly Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
