Martha Lean Green, 79 of Sparkman passed away April 11, 2020 at her home. She was born July 12, 1940 in Emerson, Arkansas to the late Norman and Zelma Floyce Baker Bryant. She was also preceded in death by her husband J.D. Green. Martha enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her brother, Elbert Green of Texas; two daughters Nancy Gardner and husband Jackie of Bearden, Barbara McKa and husband Jake of Sparkman; two sons Billy Green and Norman Green, both of Sparkman; seven grandchildren: Zelma Jeffus of Hampton, Jessica Green of Texas, Billy Green Jr. of North Little Rock, J.D. Gardner of Bearden, Keith Gardner of Bearden, Holly Wages of Camden, and Katie Griffin of Camden; and seven great grandchildren: Aiden Green and Leim Green both of North Little Rock, Brynlee Reader of Texas, Christopher Reader of Texas, Jace Reader of Texas, and James Jeffus of Hampton. Graveside were held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Sparkman Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Stevicks officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
