Linda Mae Major Cogburn, 76 of Hampton died on February 28, 2022 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. She was born January 5, 1946 to the late Garland Major Sr. and Eunie Jerry Major. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Allen Cogburn Sr.; one son, Fred Allen Cogburn Jr. who passed shortly before her; three sisters and four brothers. Linda is survived by two sons; Robert Cogburn and his wife Deanea of Hampton and Caleb Cogburn of Hampton; one daughter, Charity Faye Cogburn of Raceland, LA; two sisters, Jeri Lynn Agerton of Urbana, AR and Deborah Drennan of Benton, AR; Grandchildren, Jake Cogburn of Metairie, LA, Wesley Cogburn of El Dorado, Cole Parker of Hampton, Landen Cogburn of Hampton and Brayden Ramsey of Harmony Grove and a host of family and friends. Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
