Ken David Boen

Ken David Boen, was born on February 11, 1967 in Brownwood, TX to Elder Freddy and Ella Boen. He left this earthly life on Saturday, May 21, 2022 in St Vincent’s Hospital in Sherwood, AR at the age of 55.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Boen, from Tucson, AZ; his mother, Ella Boen, of Fordyce; two sisters, Kathy Nall and husband Wayne of Cynthiana, IN; Kristy Boen of Fordyce; one sister-in-law, Martha Boen of Fordyce; two granddaughters, Naomi and Harmony Bair of Tucson, AZ; many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Freddy Boen, a brother, Kevin Boen and a son, US Army Specialist Zachary Boen New.
Ken loved God and was eager to share it with anyone he met. He often said, “I know I’m a wretched sinner, but I’m saved by the Grace of God.”
Ken was a contractor by trade and did beautiful woodwork. His true passion was playing his guitar and ministering to those in need.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce, AR with Elders Troy Barrington and Paul Cayce officiating.
