Joseph Leslie Maricelli, Jr., age 76 passed away in his home in Morrilton, Arkansas July 31, 2021. He was born in Trout, Louisiana May 17, 1945. He was the son of the late Joseph “Pete” Leslie Maricelli and Marjorie Flowers Maricelli. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Hurshel Nowlin. He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Sue Nowlin Maricelli; his mother-in-law, Dovie Christene Ashlock Nowlin; one sister-in-law, Sharon Nowlin Morgan; one son, Joseph Keith Maricelli; two daughters, Kristy Jo Maricelli and Ashlee Christene Maricelli Clifton and her husband Nathan; three granddaughters, Anna Grace, Savannah and Jade Maricelli; two grandsons, Jason Lane Maricelli, Braxton Wyatt; and four great grandchildren. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and was a retired welder. He was a jack of all trades and a master fisherman. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone, especially his family. He will be missed by his friends. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for the life he built for all of us and the great lessons he taught us and lived by.
