Janet Lee Apple

Janet Lee Ross Apple, age 94, passed away September 19, 2024 at her home in Harrell, AR. She was born August 27, 1930 in Shirley, AR to the late Homer and Anna Belle Ross.
Mrs. Apple served as the Postmaster for the Harrell Post Office for over 30 years. She was an active member of Canaan Baptist Church since 1954
She is preceded in death by her husband, E.Q. (Buddy) Apple Jr; her parents, Homer and Anna Bell Ross; and a brother, Cloy Ross.
Her survivors include a daughter, Lane Reynolds; a brother, Niles (Jan) Ross; two grandchildren, Lance Reynolds (Amy) and Jana Reynolds; three great grandchildren, Jackson (Ashton) Reynolds, Cody (Karson) Reynolds and Kayla Reynolds; and one great great grandson, Kaysen Reynolds. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Rick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice in Camden, AR. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
