Howard A. Tidwell age 77 Bearden died Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at his home. He was born January 27, 1943 in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was a retired mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. Tidwell and Fannie Worthington Tidwell; one daughter, Tracy Gray; one grandson, Justin Arnold; one brother, Charles “Buddy” Tidwell; and two sisters, Jan Morris and Katherine Preslar. Howard is survived by his wife, Barbara Tidwell of Bearden; one daughter, Cherri Arnold and husband Kavin of Camden; one stepson, Jasper Wilson of Bearden; one brother, Tommy Tidwell of Bearden; two sisters, Frances Cheek of Hot Springs, Lee Horton of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Talon Gray of Fordyce, Ryne Wilson of Benton, Tagg Gray of Fordyce, Drake Wilson of Camden; and one great grandchild, Parker Arnold of Rye. Visitation will be Thursday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday at White Oak Cemetery near Bearden.
