Edward "Eddie" Emmett Nutt

May 23, 1945 - March 17, 2022

Edward “Eddie” Emmett Nutt, 76 of Holly Springs died Thursday March 17, 2022 at the Ouachita County Medical Center at Camden. Born May 23, 1945 in Dallas County, he was a son of the late Marlin Nutt and Virginia Quarles Nutt. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and was a dryer operator for Georgia-Pacific. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Chambliss Nutt and a brother, Steve Nutt. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Nutt of Holly Springs; two daughters, Connie Castleberry and her husband Tommy of Holly Springs, Sonya Bean and her husband Anthony of Holly Springs; three step-sons, Johnny Clemons and his wife Leann of Jacksonville, FL, Joshua Clemons of Waco, TX, Clayton Rodgers of Bearden; a step-daughter, Vanna Rodgers of Arkadelphia; a brother, Randy Nutt of Harrison; four grandchildren, Trevor Castleberry, Adrian Castleberry, Rebecca French, Lindy Bean; ten step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home at Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. David Dillard and Rev. Kenny Roy Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce/Bearden.
