Joe Alfred Whitmer

Joe Alfred Whitmer, 52, of Hampton died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his home. He was born May 1, 1966 in Camden, Arkansas. Joe worked as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Wyndel Whitmer and Martha Sue Harcrow Whitmer. He is survived by three brothers, Russell (Kimberly) Whitmer of Hampton, Keith Whitmer of Hampton, and Dewayne Whitmer of Rogers; two nephews, Keith Whitmer of Hampton, Chase Ellis of Warren; three nieces, Amanda Whitmer of Hampton, Kodie Hannegan of Hampton, and Tayia Whitmer of El Dorado. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Sardis Cemetery near Sparkman with Rev. Keith Nutt officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
