James "Sammy" Johnson

James Samuel "Sammy" Johnson died Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the age of 47. He was born to Jimmy and Mary Johnson on May 14, 1975 in Crossett Arkansas.

Sammy's personality made him larger than life. He never met a stranger and would talk to anyone, anywhere. He was talented with his hands. Sammy could drive any equipment, build, or repair most anything. His fun attitude and smile were contagious. He loved to tease and had a soft, generous heart. His favorite way to spend his days was camping or a road trip with his loved ones.

Sammy was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Johnson. He is survived by his mother Mary Johnson of Fordyce, his sweetheart Shanna Abbott of Camden, his beloved children Jaylon, Logan, and Kenslie of Hamburg, his brother Gary Johnson of Fayetteville, his Uncle Ricky Johnson of Crossett, along with nephews, cousins, and friends that he loved like family.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 6th at 11am at Crossroads Cemetery, 2601 Ashley 12 W, Crossett Arkansas.
