Charles "Chuck" Andrew Howard

Charles “Chuck” Andrew Howard, age 87, of Bearden died Sunday, July 28, 2024 at his home. He was born January 9, 1937 in Dalark, Arkansas. He was a retired logger. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hilliard “Red” Howard and Lillie Gertrude Ratcliff Howard; wife, Rose Howard; two sons, David Howard and William Howard; six brothers, Tommy Howard, Clarence Howard, Theo Howard, Jerry Howard, John Howard, and Terry “Taco” Howard. He is survived by two daughters, Trudi (David) Word of Alma, Brenda Strange of Bearden; one honorary daughter, Lora (John) Leary of Bowie, TX; one brother, James (Kay) Howard of Holly Springs, three sisters, Barbara Bledsoe of El Dorado, Lori (Ricky) Scroggins of Cleveland, Ranea (James) Dear of Rayville, LA; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. David Word officiating.
